Player run vendors

Bleh I'm retarded.

On another note, my rent on my vendor is quite high, higher than I can carry gold in one trip. How do I go about paying him with a check?

Put a check on him for a mil, charge a mil for it and ask somebody to buy it.

My son in law has high fee vendors, but he's not here for me to ask. The only suggestion I have is that you put as much on you as you can carry, and put as much on a beetle you are riding, and do it.... Beetle can carry a goodly bit of gold while you carry another wad. Two trips wouldn't kill ya.. LOL... if they are that expensive, it's probably worth making two trips.

I'm a fan of the beetle method myself but I never thought of the check thing.

you know, in the 4 years I have played, I have never run a vendor, but I can imagine that people wouldnt want to go to a vendor in a highly used fel spot... The trip could suck on a beetle, I would hate for someone to kill my crafter with his beetle and walk away with oooodles of gold.... hehe..

Plus your house has to be public to have a vendor which isnt none too smart in fel.

unless you put the vendors on 1 side of a wall and put teleporters that are either only open to friends or guildmates. some guild tried casting out of the front of theirs the other day, then they just banned us for casting inside.

How do you guys get your rune beetles to carry gold?

blue beetles..not rune. The blue beetles can carry 600 stones, while riding, but if just sitting on it, it can hold I think 18000 stones? It will fatigue REAL quick, so its easier to pile the gold into it, then recall, get off, and have it follow you to the vendor spot. it wont fatigue if you arent riding it.

Yea, I figured it out after I've made my first sales. Thanks for the tip though, that check idea is what apparently everyone does.
