they are very useful against the Berserkers, other than this, I have found no use for them. The Ophidian Bardiche's(the red ones) are for what I think is the next phase of this scenerio, they are ophid/terathen slayers. The mystic weapons go in order of power, vanq, mystic, I think it goes 30, 35, 40 DI, and intensities get better with each tier of weapon.

I noticed that their corpses dissappear very fast. If you don't loot it is the first minute, its gone.
The worsest thing with the generals is that when they almost done, they start to run away, sometimes right to the middle of their army. You have to run after them and hit, hoping to have the time to finish the damned thing.

This is why I go into a group, pick out the general, flag on him, and drag him far away from his army. I usually have to pick off a few that flagged on me on the way, but they usually go down quick. Then you are free to fight your general in a clear zone, and when he walks away, just keep up with him..

It's the knight-errant, that I have trouble with. I have to constantly watch my hp and heal a lot. The warriors are fine. They like to do the armour ignore but they rarely hit.

Oh and Bo, for honor, go do Succubus in the Dojo. Or in Spirit, if you want to do paragons while you're at it. I get to knight pretty fast there.

Succubus and I dont get along very well. I have never been able to kill those little terds very well, unless it was on my mage with EVS. Are you using a arms weapon, or an archer?

A macer, and archer. Both with bushido. The macer actually does better than my archer.

I did a General last night on my own........lured it to a clear area, set my WW on it and let him have it with my Reptile Slayer bow.

Took 10 mins to lay it low. All for 1200gp.

One thing of interest though........my WW took hardly any damage from the General.
Could WW's be their weakness?

There is only about 1 or 2 types of Generals that are doing damage. I can stand there and swing away at most of them and never even take a single hit of damage, and if I do, its because of the specials they are doing now, like crushing blow might do 10, or an AI might do 35, but other than that, its nothing notta zilch! Great way for people who are working skills. They're like disposable golems.. hehe..

True, most of the generals can't hit you, but they are not so easy as it may sounds. Each hit of warrior general may come to 30-35, and if they give some good hits in a row you may be killed before you understand what happening. It happened to me few times. The shaman/apprentice generals are much easier, after you survive the first spell hit.
Some other things - honoring the generals not always works, in some cases they appear already damaged so honor is impossible. In the last time i noticed another strange thing - i started to fight a genaral, it run after me far away from their army, and then, after some hits it just dissappeared and returned to a place it originally been. I was managed to go back and make the general follow me again.
