Can you place another house, THEN drop the old one?

Hmm getting a larger house WOULD be neat but I do not think you want to run the risk because where I currently live I am 15x15 and I can too make it a little bigger by a couple of squares but it is not worth risking it and moving all that stuff. If I were you if you ever find a "larger" plot just place it there THEN move because removing all that stuff and placin g a new house over the old you never know who is lurking about and can place especailly if your shard is over populated like mine.

Carp, your 15x15 is already at max storage, so you shouldnt worry about making it bigger unless the size is hampering your decorating. Remember, any size that adds up to 30 is going to be max storage, whether it be 13x17 or 12x18, its all going to be, what 2924 storage?

I placed a tower, then hated it, dropped it to the foundation and got what I think is a 16x15. I dont know if towers have higher storage than customizables, but I just hated the idea of having a tower a few screens north of yew fel gate, and having to try to recall there with my crafter and not being able to just run in when everyones fighting around....

Aye it is max storage so no real reason to make it bigger other it being more "roomy" but I like my house ^_^

Yah, I did enjoy roominess of my old plot. I used to own 2 18x18s in Umbra, but it sucked when all my reds couldnt go home anymore.....hehe.. Sooo. I found a tower that fell one day north of yew gate and placed my very own home for my reds, and left Malas in the dust only to never return again!! Only sticky part is when my crafter recalls in and theres people fighting up near my house, they see me and instantly all gun for me! This is why I tore down the tower and put up easy access entrances. You know, the standard Fel house, waterfalls, hidden doors, ugly stuff like that....
