In Tram you shouldn't be taking and damage, so being paralyzed shouldn't matter either. Just stand still and let them do their thing.

Theres always a satyr running around near swoops and below. if you dont go past the sand, you wont have to worry about the changlings.

Let's not forget that having protection cast on you also lowers your magic resist. So... having Prot on and then getting dischorded should put you at a stupidly low skill level, -> muchos gainage |

| Re: 120 Resist?!?
I tried that one day, did protection went to Satyrs started doing some resist training, then this one jerk kept killing the satyrs, and dragging changlings down, and since I was discorded, I couldnt cast enough to kill the buggers....
Now I am doing mana vamp alot, and am getting nice gains. But what I am still doing is compassion quests, escort the guy, during the 5 min wait to next one, its clumsy/weaken/clumsy/weaken for 5 min, then escort again. I get a good 25 minutes of training everyday doing it, and usually gain about .5-.8. I am slowly working my way up there, but its not just meaningless training time, as I am gaining compassion while doing it. Double bonus!

| Re: 120 Resist?!?
im noob and just started playing again after 7 yrs, but what is the point in resist now? i have a guy with 100 resist, so it gives me 40 (percent?) to all, but it doesn't stack with armor resists, so isn't it kinda pointless since most armor has resistances?

| Re: 120 Resist?!?
Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but usually the armor you wear doesn't give you high resist in everything, therefore which ever resistance is below 40 in your case, (44 w/someone with 120 resist) your resisting spell skill kicks in. hope this helps

| Re: 120 Resist?!?
the armor doesnt start showing its resist until you surpass what you have automatically from your resist, like if you are wearing, say the ember leggings, 15,25,0,15,15 you wont see it at all. But once stacked iwth other armor, you will start to see it.
The way resist works is, it helps counter and lower the damaging effects of debuff spells, like curse, weaken, feeblemind, corpse skin, blood oath, and poisoning.
plus when you are freshly rezzed, and you arent fully clothed yet, and getting hit again, you atleast have SOME resists and can hopefully survive long enough to get your stuff on and back in a fight.

Resist does not add any resistance to the armor, but if your naked, it will give you resists. Hope that makes sense. What Bo said *points up*
