]It's not something I'll be quiting over and I don't want to come off as being greedy, but I am dissapointed at the above statement in this weeks Five on Friday. I'm all for someone telling me I'm wrong, but my take on the subject is that we, the Veterans who have already posted so many proposals on Veteran Rewards, many of which we agreed on, just aren't being noticed. The hype of new Veteran rewards was met with more dissaproval than it should have only to be pushed out without change.

I once asked if the DEV's were listening, but I guess I now know the answer.

To me it sounds like they are listening to the community and want to respond but only have a finite amount of resources allocated to implementing rewards. It think it would be highly unfair to say you aren't being noticed.

The devs should be spending time on stuff that EVERYONE can access and enjoy, not just 5% of the players, especially since most of the people with "vet" accounts just bought them off ebay, and havent really played that long anyway.

This is correct. We have heard a lot of good ideas that come from the community, but rather than stop work on the rewards that were already started, we need to get those to Test Center first before we start considering if there is time to do more.

OK I never bought my account on E-bay. I have played it the entire time so this statements is just a way to slam the devs and has no basis in reality. I'm sure there have been a few that have bought accounts on E-bay but all of the 9th year "vets" that I know of have been playing the entire time.

Last time I checked there was a 1 year reward listed also. So almost everyone will be able to benefit from the rewards not just a small %

So I would like to take this time to thank the DEVs. I appreciate all the work you do and I know a great deal of the people here at UOForums do as well

Same for me Som. My old accounts (4 of them) are all my original accounts. None have ever belonged to anyone else. I think there are a number of us "elder" players out there. And yes, most of the new vet rewards are great. I'd like to have an alternative to the polar bear, but I'll continue to have fun if that doesn't happen. As you say, there's only so much resource time you can devote

No matter what, people will always complain. They complained forever about wanting new vert rewards. They are here! Shush and enjoy! If you don't like the choices, then wait, save your rewards, and see what else happens.

Seeing how I'm coming up to year 2, the devs have plenty of time to think up new rewards for the later years....

What? You mean you want them now? j/k

I have quite a few Vet choices available. It will seem odd using 9th year vet choices to get 1st year rewards but I will certainly be getting a couple stones for each accont!

People have been asking for new rewards for ages...they gave us some new ones. Now they will complain about someting else. Or some will still complain about Vet rewards until they give us our own island for 10th year rewards....ok just me...no one else.
