Gold skull quest

My bf and I went to Doom last night to get the gold skull so we could do the gauntlet. We finished collecting the bones and killed the bone demon but no gold skull? It's been a while since we last did it so I'm not sure if it pops in the bag or looted from the demon. We checked the bank to see if it was there, nada.

I think you're not supposed to leave the dungeon when you start the quest, if you do, the quest is ended right? What if we're in a party and I had to leave to get more aids? Oh and I logged out too. My bf is the one doing the quest though, I didn't think it would affect our getting the skull. Could that be it? Those are the only things I could think of right now.

Yes, that is correct, if you leave the dungeon the quest is over. If he was the quest taker, and you left then it shouldnt matter. If I remember correctly, and someone correct me if I am wrong, as its been a long time since I did the gold skull quest, it does pop into your bag.

I think you need to open the corpse before it pops into your pack. If you are over in items and you open the corpse it should go to the bank, at least that is how arties and such work.

Okay, well looks like we got cheated out of a gold skull. No biggie, it doesn't take that long to finish the quest.

We'll try and do it again tonight. If we don't get the skull again, maybe the quest is broken.

If anyone leaves doom area, the quest is lost and no gold skull. The gold skull is on the corpse as loot.

Hehe well then more aids. Can't count how many times I've screwed up something coz I ran out of aids x-healing.

I mean the one person with the quest. even if they die and leave to get a rez, the quest is over.

Oh wait he did die, but he didn't leave doom though. He used sacrifice. Would that have ended the quest?

Its possible, I never tried sacrifice to self rez myself with the bone demon.

No, that will not end the quest, done it before myself. I dont understand how you got screwed out of your skull tho. I have been trying to think of other reasons, and well cant come up with a good enough excuse for you not to get this skull.
The only posssssssible reason I can imagine this happened is cause of the party and you leaving and coming back. It must of had something to do with that.
