Anyone wanna take a crack at resizing a gif for me?

Specs are 100PXx100PX and 48.8kb.

How many frames is that thing?? I can do it but it would take me about a week. (not full time...)

Well I have it 100x100 but it still almost 1.5 meg. I will have to try and reduce each frame individually I'm afraid. I was able to shrink the whole thing at once but mybe the frames can be optimized a bit, but 48K will tough...

I might have it here.

Edit. Nay, I don't. I can get it down to 600 kb and 100x100. The animation is choppy, but it works.

So far I saved each frame seperately. They are 50K each and 150xsomething. I resized one to 100x100 and it is 24K. Then I optimized it for the web and it is 8K. 8 is smaller than 50 so it is good. But I will have to do each of the 480 frames individually. I was hoping to batch them somehow with Photoshop.

It can be done but the way I'm planning will be slow. hopefully someone has a way to run a batch and convert all frames at once.

I did a little bit of fooling around with it myself and found a way to get it down to about 241kb. I took a crap load of frames out. If you want to use this one, thats fine with me

If you can pull frames, you should be able to slow the rate a bit and get it to look more like the original. The file size was my original concern to begin with anywho...

What program do you use to animate the gif? I took each frame from 50K down to between 4-8K each. But when I saved them as an animated gif the file was still 250K. I used ULead gif animator 5 and Photoshop CS.

Im using CS2 and a program i found called Gif Movie Gear.
