Changing chat colour?.. Is it broken?

Howdy,

I am trying to change my chat colour, currently it is stuck on yellow, no matter what colour I change it to in the options and apply/ok it still displays as yellow to me and everyone else. When I go back to the option it displays as the colour I just changed it to, but doesn't seem to actually take effect?

Is it broken?

A friend of mine also has the same problem, her's is stuck on grey.

What Forum style are you using?? there could be a difference there..

lol, was kind of wondering...

i havent' tried to change mine lately so i don't know if it's working or not, but are you using the 'apply' button first in options to set the new chosen color?

the first time i tried changing text colors i spend a lot of time getting frustrated because i hadn't used the 'apply' button before hitting 'okay'

Yep I use the apply button, but yeah no go. Even when I go back into the menu it shows as its changed, but yeah doesn't actually work.

I'll try playing with the uo.cfg file tonight.

My chat (in game) is doing well but my sweetheart who downloaded UOAM somehow messed up with his in game interface and colours. I doubt this happens to everyone when I downloaded UOAM I was fine but who knows.

My colours are fine in game but my sweety can not see the colours I choosen so I do not know how to go about helping you =(

So I guess your colours not working well could be any number things is what I am getting at... Wish I could help you more but I do not know much about mechanics. I am lucky to know how to log on and play hehe
