I alternate them alot but this so happened to be the one I had when I read this

Thats the Hildebrandt UO Wallpaper. One of the Artists, Tim Hildebrandt, passed away within the past week or so.

He did? That's really very unfortunate. I had no idea...

But yeah, Tim and Greg Hildebrandt did that piece for the original release of UO. It served as the box art and also came as a print in the limited charter editions of the original release, signed by the artist brothers. It can be seen today in-game as the Tapestry of Sosaria (7th Anniversary gift). I've even seen that huge dragon creature as a tattoo on someone years ago at the Texas Renaissance Festival. Pretty impressive piece it is.

Aww I didnt know he died, Shame, I love that desktop image.
