Duped Rare and Event Items to be Altered

During last night’s maintenance cycle, we fixed an exploit that allowed players to dupe certain items. The duped items are still in the game, but we will be addressing them in an upcoming publish.

Currently, we do not plan to delete these items; rather they will be altered in various ways so they become common items that are obtainable by all players.

Thanks for the great news. Just wished they would make the duper's gold turn to blank parchment and/or bann them for wasting everyone's time.

I am sure the Devs and everyone on the staff would love to move quicker and more violent, but they probably have to deal with a another department, that must give them permisson to go ahead,Something similar to Congress. They need a "War Powers Act." :grin:

Wow - you nailed it on the head. LOL

Yeah - sometimes other depts bottle neck when it comes to issues important to us and matters of contracts and behavior.

I've been bouncing up and down here like a frisky bunny for weeks in anticipation of getting a green light on a great many things.

I hope that Devs and the rest of their team get the ones who duped the items. Its getting rather annoying to hear that a handful of people out there are ruining a game I enjoy playing. Even if the Devs have to goto drastic means as banning the violating account and any other account associated with their credit card. So much time and resources are wasted fixing what they have done, that could have been better used else where.
