On Friday nite, our fearless band of warriors met at Yew gate with a new challenge ahead of them. We would be attempting to obtain the keys for Travesty from the Citadel as a group. After receiving word that several groups had already been through the Citadel gathering keys and the spawn to the red room was probably vicious, I began to have second thoughts about our task. However, Iza quickly volunteered to head in and check things out and clear out what he could. He was soon joined by Maligant and the two of them were able to obtain the red keys and clean up some of the leftover spawn. Thank you so much to both of them.

We then took the remainder of the group over to Citadel to show them the Blue Key and Yellow Key rooms. After a bit of confusion over finding the secret doors as well as battling the courtyard guardians, the blue and yellow keys were quickly in hand (along with several death robes to begin the evening).

The first two parties headed in to face Travesty and found a nasty surprise waiting on them. The group before had left quite a bit of spawn that had to be dealt with before the changeling herself could be fought. But deal with it they did! In an awesome display of teamwork and courage, they cleaned up the room and took on Travesty. Travesty and her new minions were quickly defeated and the room set to rights for our next group of adventurers.

As the first group headed over to Bedlam to test their skills, our second group took their turn at Travesty. Travesty was quickly overwhelmed by this massive force although she put up a battle.





Cheers went up as the mighty changeling was felled and our group met back at Yew gate to give the first group time to finish gathering the keys for Grizzle. We also took some time to discuss strategy (and to talk about Red Death). [grin]



After chatting for a bit and resting, our group volunteered to head into Bedlam to assist the first group with the key gathering as the keys were falling VERY slowly. We would then work on a set for ourselves after sending them off to face Grizzle.



Faced with this massive force, the keys were soon in hand.



Upon gathering the second set of keys, we exited the dungeon to await our turn at Grizzle. When group one had defeated him, we set in to see what we could do!



Even though he threw a TON of that nasty yellow ooze at us, Grizzle was soundly defeated and our hunters collected their rewards and headed for other adventures as the evening ended.

A huge thank you to Iza and Maligant for their bravery and help with getting the red keys and clean up the lower rooms a bit. Thank you to our party leaders, TW, Kuro, Morganna, Gwenyth and Electra for helping keep our groups together and directing them. Thank you also to Sage for the screen shots he helped gather.
