So the Peoples Army of Sonoma are a bunch of renegade rebels to the true crown. Just like real life...

Re: The capture of Lord British ....

I never in my life heard anyone refer to Lord British as King ... hes a LORD ... Im a KING (*points to the crown*) ... *smiles* .... and Im glad to see other folks getting involved, a guy popped out at the first hearing and yelled LONG LIVE LORD BRITISH and tried to kill the prosecutor ....

the E^E guards and PAS dropped him ... was a shock to everyone.

Then tonight that guys dropping books around Sonoma trying to rally the Britannian Guards to come to LBs aid.

fun stuff ... hopefully others will get involved, the judge is still looking for jurors, and theres always a long list of witnesses that will be called at something like this.

I think PAS has about 12 or 13 witnesses on our list, should be a lot of fun.

I don't play on Sonoma, but I like to hear all the things going on around UO. But, if all it takes is a crown, where do I get one?

Re: The capture of Lord British ....

listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government .. supreme executive power comes from a mandate from the masses, not some farcical aquatic ceremony!

For non Pythons, thats from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the best movie ever made in my opinion.

So yeah, I got mine from a mandate from the masses. *grins*

Re: The capture of Lord British ....

I realize there was a response by KD as far as 'why' PAS sees Lord British as a criminal, but someone please tell me is there really any 'real' evidence other than someones made up rp of this? Where in the true history of UO was there written that Lord British was the bad guy when it was Lord Blackthorn who is the bad guy? (the way I understand it). This is why I'm not following this trial at all, as I see it as not very true to the real RP of the game. Only reason I replied to this thread was to finally put in my two cents worth (which I have a feeling won't even be worth that much since everyone seems to think this trial is so cool).
again. my 2 cents.

Trajan ... we would have come and found ya

Cassie ... I understand why your wondering ... yes it is roleplay ... however the basis for this goes back several years (as long as KD has been on Sonoma) ... did you visit the links provided in the sticky above, it might help to understand the basis of this roleplaying event .... The Trial of Lord British ... Records & Information Office

Feel free to ask questions .. your 2 cents is far worth more than my one cookie chip
You would be a great juror i think!
