anyone know how much this might be worth... just a "scroll".. looks like one you'd place in a spell book.. but it doens't do anything

Not sure of the price, but I do know the history(I have about 30 of them).
Long time ago these scrolls use to drop just like monsters drop scrolls now, but they just wouldn't have any spells on them. LAST time I checked(which was about 2 years ago), they were running anywhere from 50k-150k per scroll, depending on the colour and the way it was facing.(there are 16 in all).

I have a full set of these, most of which I've seen go for, you're right Mint, around 75k-200k. I've seen them fetch higher at auctions, like last night at MOA one sold for 1 Million! Though it was more of a bidding war

about 75k on Sonoma... haven't seen them on Siege.. so I'm not sure there. As for the bidding wars... I love going to auctions just to watch people participate in UO's version of HSN.. impulsive bidders shelling out millions for something worth 500k... *chuckles*
