He's just got it all misconstrued, the rose petals were thrown about for customer appreciation, the balloons and gifts were handed out to the customers and their children, and the poems were a charity event done by the local high school choir club for extra credit.

As for having it better than the board members, I have no clue where that came from, and the assistants at my beck and call basically means whenever they need something done, they call and I do it, so I'm like an assistant's assistant.
