Well just incase anyone is still wondering the set items come off all Named ML creatures along with the Peerless.
I have gotten 4 set items off swoop in the months and months I have hunted that stupid bird.
They do look like normal items until you "hover" over them.

Wilki said something about this on Startics, kinda hard to explain it because I really didn't get what he ment by it.

i have about 2 pieces of each one of the armor sets, and the marksman bow, and the full grizzle suit and darkwood set....some pieces seem to drop more often than others... for the assassin armor its the sleeves and tunic that drop often, ive never seen the gloves or legs to it though but that full set would be sweet to own

I've the sleeves and tunic and I'm looking for the gloves and leggings.

people on cats sell that armor for so much, i dont thinki would ever buy it but i think its for the pvp people anyways.

Hi, well ive had about 8 pieces so far but they always seem to be the same pieces, ie for assassin armour the tunic is common, for greymist gloves and arms etc
everyone seems to get the same bits!

Where did you get the gloves from?

You get the different bits from different spawn. Most find the common pieces from say the swoops or misama's.

The rarer pieces drop from the boss creatures.

The leggings are being sold at the Treasure Trove for 28mill right now. The vendor's name is "ML Items," and it's located at Tomas' house.

Anyway, with that being said, I sold the full suit about a month and a half ago for 70mill. It took me nearly 3 months to sell it at that price. To be honest, the Assassin set is considered the best set, but even so I still thought it kinda sucked. Of course, I'm looking at it from a pvp perspective. It is near impossible to get to all 70's wearing this suit, and still be able to kill anyone. It's nice to say you have the full suit, but other than that I dont see a point in wearing it. You are much better off wearing a suit you've made yourself.

All the ML sets are like this unfortunately. I guess they were afraid of making them too uber, and in reality made them actually weaker than the barbed armor equivalent. The Marksmen set and Juggernaut set are also pretty weak in comparison to what you could get with the gold you'd spend on buying these sets. 30mill is what people try to get for the Marksmen and Juggernaut set. You can take that 30 and buy much better crafted items instead.
