All fishers are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this contest! The Big Fish Contest will be taking place over two days so that those who work can have an equal chance to participate. As a fisher all you need to do is go out and catch as many Big Fish as you can! There are two categories so there's more chances to win!

Rules
- The Fisher must turn in a fish they themselves have caught
- Big Fish must show the Fishers name on it
- Big Fish must show a weight number on it
- Each Fisher can only submit two Big Fish
- Big Fish must be turned in to Lilim Idisi between 7-9pm Pacific Time on Friday Feb 24th at the Britain Docks located in the picture below.
- Fisher can win in only one category (heaviest or lightest)



I will only be at the docks from 7-9pm Pacific Time, after I leave no more submissions will be taken. If the Big Fish does not fit the rules above it will not be accepted as a submission (example: a Big Fish caught by Walter but Fisher submitting fish is named Alex). I will be asking each entrant which category they choose as their first choice in case they happen to place in the top three of each category. The three Fishers with the heaviest fish and the three Fishers with the lightest fish will be the winners. All remaining Fishers who submited a fish will be given a small check.

Prizes
1st place: 200k check + Item of their choice (chooses item first)
2nd place: 150k check + Item of their choice (chooses item second)
3rd Place: 100k check + Item of their choice (chooses item third)

Each winner in each category will be given a choice of the following items. Each winner chooses one item. Since there are a lot of pictures I've put them together in a section on my photo album so that you can view them if you wish to do so. - View Prizes - Please note that not all prizes are equal in monetary value, some are even worth more than the actual check amount.

The two 1st place winners (heaviest and lightest fish) will roll the dice, the combined number of the dice is assigned to who rolled it. The highest number wins. Of the two 1st place winners, the winner with the highest rolled dice number will choose their item first then the other first place winner will choose their item. This will continue for 2nd and 3rd place winners to choose their item. For example: 1st place winner of heaviest fish rolls the dice for a 1 and 2 for a total of 3. The 1st place winner of the lightest fish rolls the dice for a 2 and 6 for a total of 8. The 1st place winner of the lightest fish has the highest number so they choose their item first, the 1st place winner of the heaviest fish will choose their item next. I know it's a bit confusing so please re-read how the items are distributed to each winner and if you happen to still have questions then please feel free to post here or post on the FCB's Sonoma forum.

Collecting Checks and Prizes
Winners of each category will be announced here in this post and again at the FCB Sonoma forum. Winners may also be announced at the closing cermony of the Britain Winter Festival (Saturday Feb 25th) if possible. All entrants are encouraged to attend the festival, at the very least to attend the closing ceremony to see if the winners will be announced or to talk with me (Lilim Idisi) to receive your prize. Please plan on extra time after the ceremony in case you're one of the winners. Attending winners will go thorugh the process mentioned above to choose their prize, absentee winners will only receive their prize once they contact me. After a week's time (March 4th), if the absentee winners have not contacted me for their prize it will become void. If you're not a winner but you did enter your big fish please plan on time after the closing ceremony as well so that I can give you your check.

This is the first Big Fish Contest the FCB of Sonoma has hosted and with almost 1 million gold in checks! So I truly hope all you fishers will get out there and give it a try! :grin: This Big Fish contest is a part of the fishers experience associated with the Net Toss I'll be doing at the Britain Winter Festival. Be sure to attend the Britain Winter Festival on Saturday the 25th as there's a variety of activities to do.
