ok this morning before work i log in and see that my christmas trees are redeeded so i figure thank god i did not lose them so i go to start picking them up with one of the characters on the owners acct. i could not but saw locked down so said dah unlock it still cannot pick up . then deside to log in the char who name on the house still can not pick up . went to 3 of my other houses and same thing happened. what am I not doing right. can not read stratics from work so no clue what am doing wrong not that anything would be there as i know am doing something stupid but do not want to worry about it all day at work .

Woody, I'm not positive but someone on Stratics reported the same problem and had to use the character that actually locked the deeds down to remove them. Not sure if that will do it or not but maybe worth a try?

thanks but i thought i tried that was pretty sure one of two would of placed them as you have to own house to place the tree. But will try again with every char on acct tonight if anyone here any more on this let me know .

I've had that problem with vet reward sheild deco's for a long time now.
There is only one character on one of my accounts that can redeed them after placing them. (doesnt matter who placed it)
I don't know what the issue is.

Have you tried paging a GM and having her or him release it for? GM Sparkle for teh win.

was trying to avoid that as have many accts and trees it would wear even gm sparkles who is the greatest i agree patience. could someone post here if anything on stratics as my niece who has 3 char and one house said same happening to her and logged in all three to try to unlock which all three could do the unlock but none could pickup. she says got msg that no longer locked down all three char

My trees were never locked down at all. I just double clicked them to get them down.

trees were redeeded and locked down i liked the trees and missed takeing them down

I paged a GM -by the way if GM Wolf sees this I'm sorry you had to release a keeps perimeter of trees.

Have the same issue with a Keep ...
locked deeds all over the place and the owner could only retrive 4 of them ...
it says the character who placed can only get them ...
welp she is the one who placed all 40+++ of them and she is the owner

I ran into this problem last night, found the tree I put up in a deed on the ground, unlocked it, and tried picking it up with all my characters that would have placed it, no go. Oh well, I will just let it decay, like taking the tree out to the street after new years. I wonder what day garbage day is in UO?
