I just purchased a 8x10 three story home outside of Trinsic.....I'm officialy a homeowner!!!

Congrats!!! That's a decent size for your first house!

True, it's somewhat out of the way but it's on the coast, near plenty of forest for lumberjacking and not close to any spawn points.

Now comes the decorating.

Congrats on owning your first house! Soon enough you will have saved up enough to get a max storage house. I believe it goes like this, anything that adds up to 30 is max.

8x10 is a good size for a first house... my first house was the smallest non-customizable one there is. I had just enough room for one box

My first house was kinda a funny situation. I was on temporary duty and in a hotel, on dialup. I couldnt really do much as the hotels on military bases have HORRIBLE connection speeds, so I was just kinda working my spirit speak and a couple other skills at umbra bank. It was a nice place to do it cause its a nice quiet bank. Some guy came up and asked me if I wanted a house for free. I said sure, and he walked me 2 houses up the road outside of Umbra. I loved the location cause Malas was where I based out of. The dude was quitting UO and gave me all his stuff in there. It worked out great because I was able to put together an LRC suit from the stuff he had in there, and finish up my skills training that week. So eventhough I was wasting away in Wichita Falls TX, the trip wasnt all that bad..

I know, in my case..a friend of mine knew I was looking for a house as the bankbox is waaaaay too full :grin:

And I mentioned that i was looking for a place but there's not a whole lot avaliable for something decently sized and she offered me this place.


and when all was said and done...I was given the deed to the place in exchange for my filling some commodity deeds and bods.

I remember when my older sister got her first house. I didn't play yet, but I would spend alot of time watching her. It was in Cove, on Loch Lake, and in Fel. Brigands, gargoyles, and other stuff would spawn there alot. She was so proud to have a house, and made it with windows on the first floor and everything. Well, that first design didn't last long, cause the brigands could shoot arrows through the window and keep her running about.

Anyway, you will come to love your first one, and always remember it.
