Hey out there,
Which one would you keep? Anatomy or Tactics? I'm so confused. |

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
From what I've gathered, Tactics helps out a weapon skill, like eval is to magery. Anatomy and tactics along with a weapon skill help out your damage output. I believe anatomy is there for increased healing. I have heard that having gm anatomy and 0 healing will cure a poison as well. If you have the room, keep em both. It cant hurt. I go 115 anat 110 tact 110 heal 120 swds on my paladin.

Keeping that in mind, if you can make up for damage increase on your weapons and jewels you really dont need tactics to still get to the damage cap. Anat you need for your bandage healing to cure poison and reduce "slips" ultimately adding to the total damage healed. I'd say post the rest of your template for a better assessment. If you are asking about help on an archer, dont expect any more help from me, however. |

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
Look back on Vy's posts, he is probably one of the most anti-archer players out there. I dont blame him, they are the ruin of Fel.

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
Tactics is purely a damage bonus.
Anatomy is a smaller damage bonus, and also helps you heal. (Just try healing without any Anatomy; it's pretty much a waste.) So therefore, if there' sonly room for tactics or anat but not both, the answer is simple: If you have Healing, it must be Anatomy. If you do not have Healing, it should be Tactics becuase the damage bonus is greater. If you have a warrior without healing you are likely using Chivalry. Make sure you have at least 3/6 casting, preferably 4/6. If you're going to be PvPing, as would be implied by the Forum this is in, go for 4/6. I have also heard of Samurai templates without healing, but I know next to nothing about them. -Galen's player |

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
confidence is nice, but it wont help when youre getting hit by an archer exploiting the quiver bug and getting rocked for 70+. it is nice for doing a spawn and youre in a group getting picked at, but not against big hits.. Dont give up healing, its too important.

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
samurai is actually a good char to use against an archer , if u use a 2 handed weapon u can profit from the passive perry that comes with skill .
archers are ussually pretty easy . i like the ones where u paralize ,explode repeat til they are dead lmao. and i havent heard the quiver exploit yet.but am glad they got rid of the direct damage for word of death.

Re: Anatomy or Tactics
As screwed up as WoD was, Archery is 100 times worse. 80 - 120 HP per arrow every 1.25 seconds...AND every newbie on the shard has an uber bow since they screwed up the bottle quest and it took them months to correct it.
So every one of these archers has a 40SSI elven comp with 48 HLD and 48 Manaleech. Hooray for UO on easy mode. |
