Has anyone heard of this?

It is one of the new styles of armor that can drop piece at a time randomly on some bosses.. Here is a page showing them:

Bosses are not the only ones that drop set items, although they probably drop them more often. I have gotten several off swoops.

I wouldn't mind having the Juggernaut and Marksman Sets, or the Hunter's Garb, Myrmedon or Assassin set. Not that they are all that Uber, but I like the look. Too bad they didn't think about the fact that some of us are female.

Outstanding, now all i need to do is get a full set of Assassin armor and all is well with the world.

Well, I have killed a good number of swoops tonight...nothing special dropped off of them. Well, I did collect 50k in gold...that is pretty good. Does the armor automatically appear in your pack or do you have to be quick to the loot to get the items?

I've had to loot the 2 pieces I got from the corpse

You have to loot the armor pieces, they dont drop into your backpack like artifacts do

I always loot, except where the pile is too deep like in Painted Caves. Those it is hard to check sometimes. I just don't fight often enough, I think.
