i cant get honor to work

Recently I have been trying to get my honor virtue up, but when I click on the icon in the virtue gump, it says "This virtue is not active yet." What do I do?

I think thats just because you have no points in it yet.

are you sure you are hittin honor one , cause it should only say this virtue is not active on the ones that are not. even at 0 honor it will allow you to attept to honor someone/thing .. ussually at low lvls i think it say you may only honor monsters or something to that effect...
