Hrm.. that's entirely possible (the look, not your marble-like mental state). Keep in mind that by the time we got to Berlin, I was operating on very little sleep. I probably shouldn't have gotten into the specifics about left/right hand since it's not terribly clear to a player.

The original developers had set aside slots for left hand, right hand, left bracer, right bracer, etc. By the time it was actually released there was just 'a ring' or 'a bracer'. Rings went into the slot previously known as 'right hand', now known as 'ring slot'. All I really meant was that we repurposed the depricated 'left hand' slot for the talisman. I suspect my look was really my sluggish brain trying to decide if I should explain all this, or just nod my head.
