That's right, this week we will be venturing into the depths of the Twisted Weald to confront that abonimation of a unicorn known as Dreadhorn!

Some preparation information:

If you have not already been into the Twisted Weald, you need to talk to Lorekeeper Calendor the Keeper of Tradition in Heartwood. She can usually be found hanging out with the fletchers in Heartwood. She will ask you to kill one Dreadhorn. If you have already completed this quest, you do NOT need to talk to her. You can only do the quest itself one time but you can go to Dreadhorn repeatedly once you have gotten the quest the first time.

Once we get to Twisted Weald, we will need to head into and through the desert and around to the swamp below it. This is a twisting sand passage inhabited by dire wolves, spiders, changelings and cu sidhe. Along the way and in the swamp, we will need to collect six keys as follows:

2 keys can be found on the ground, the Blighted Cotton (in the swamp after the desert maze) and Thorny Briars (in the desert maze).

The Blue Dire Wolf "Gnaw" in the cave directly AFTER the desert maze possess a key, his fang.

The Changeling Irk possess a key, his brain.

The Dread Spiders Lady Sabrix and Lady Lissith both have keys, the Eye of Sabrix and Lissith's Silk.

As this is in Ish, any of the creatures we encounter may be in paragon form so be ready for that. Thank goodness, Dreadhorn WON'T be a paragon. That happened in Beta and it was bad, very very bad. LOL

I would like to also do Melisande Friday nite if possible and, depending on the number we have show up, we may send half to Dreadhorn and half to Melisande and then switch. If anyone can do the Frightened Dryad quest right up to accepting the blessing, that would definitely give us a jump start. If Melisande for some reason doesn't work out for Friday nite, we'll try to do her on Saturday nite. I'll make as many bone machetes as I can but if anyone else would like to help, that would be HUGELY appreciated!

Alright everyone, we are meeting at Trammel Yew gate at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. We'll divide into two groups. One will go to Dreadhorn and one to Melisande. Then we'll switch. We want to be partied up and ready to go by 8:30 p.m.

We'll figure out who's going where when once we gather. I'll try to post a few more things in the morning and check out the thread over on Stratics. I'm trying to keep em both updated but I know I'm falling behind. LOL

If anyone has a chance to do the Frightened Dryad quest at Blighted prior to the meet up, that will definitely save some time at Blighted. Unfortunately, no way to do anything for Dreadhorn early.

One other thing I did want to mention, even with splitting in to two groups at two peerless, there are probably going to be a good number of people along. Therefore, once we get TO the peerless and confirm that everyone is there, we are going to drop parties immediately. I want to see if we can still cross heal, etc. but get a better loot distribution per person. Hopefully, with the smaller area, we can keep people's bars on the screen even without being in party.

I'd like to do this at both Dreadhorn and Melisande. We can see how it works and adjust again if necessary.
