Is there another special edition in store? Wilki isn't letting any info out just yet..

Player: I'm hearing talk of a Christmas Edition of UO that will have ML and a bunch of other stuff like an extra 5 points to the skill cap. I didn't buy ML or T8A, so I don't think I'll be buying UO: Christmas, but I'm curious if anyone knows what it will contain.

I do think having to buy it to get the +5 to a skill cap is a bad idea. It's not that 725 will be that unbalancing, but having to shell out another $20 to $30 per account will probably make some people upset. Including myself!

I've spoken to two people from two separate meetups that said they spoke with UO Reps, and gleened the information from them informally. Hence, my post. I was hoping someone could let me know what they've heard.

Player: I bet we don't get a yay or nay on this though.

I agree. but I would like to have some of the old stuff back for holidays like we did in the past like the Lapucan clothing or Sante Claues clothing and coal for murders and such.I mean those were a blast back then. Today all we get is a stupid bow wraped box with a mistoe a piece of snow and a tree. I mean come on back then we had great times with the old holiday gifts. Hell I'd like to have Lap's Clothing since my name is Patrick Named after St. Patrick> So i think it'll be cool to have an event to find me wearing those close around the lands we have. But who knows that they are thinking.

I think it was on the old origin forums... but wasn't there some beef about the santa claus clothing and it being culturally prejudice towards those who didn't celebrate Christmas. I seem to remember some big stink or another and the next year the clothes weren't available. Meh.. I hoard up all my christmas gifts on all the shards then sell them off each year.
