After doing about 496t189671938410461046 crafting quests I've come to the conclusion that all these recipes are falling at a certain % but none are actually rare.
I saw a recipe on a vendor for like 5mil or some sort.... don't remember exactly which one... certainly not worth that.... I have a bag-o-recipes I haven't even looked at very closely except to toss the duplicates on the ground heh.
Are they really worth a high sum of gold? I mean have I thrown away millions?

They are not worth millions...not even close. It's like you say Flutter, they are dropping at a certain percentage. It's just luck of the draw.

It's like the Pendent of the Magi recipie...people were freaking out and buying this recipie for a mill. Yes the pendent to make costs a lot..and it is worth some coin. But the recipie is not.

I know a guy on Napa who had about 10 of that recipie in particular...and he was giving them away for free.

No recipie should be worth 5 mil :/
