OK, a final update on the situation. As of approximately 9:30 last nite and a TON of run around, the account and the Castle were returned to Curt.

As we suspected, the castle, Curt's chars bankboxes and packies had been stripped of all items of value and all gold. A lot of the loose resources were left as they were in heavy stacks. Anything that had been deeded was taken.

We are now in recovery mode at this point. BUT O*S Vendors will be back in business soon and the O*S guild is going nowhere. And, thanks to the OMG GENEROUS donation of one special person, there is a vendor being set up especially to help get Curt back on his feet. With this donation, and I hesitate to name any names, plus what the guild members are pulling out, we should be able to get Curt back on his feet.

To the person who met with me last nite, you know who you are and you know, I hope, how much I love you. You say what you did is no big deal but to us, it is huge. And not just in material goods. We have been trying so hard to keep our heads up through this but going thru inventorying what was taken and what was lost was one of the most depressing things I've ever gone thru in game and we were all feeling pretty low. What you did for us picked us up more than you can know and made up for so much. You can honestly never know and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Through everything that was taken, we still have the one thing that no one can ever, ever take from us and that is our friendships. O*S's commitment to Catskills and the community is stronger than ever and our bonds with each other are also stronger than they have ever been. We are a family and we care for each other. That's something no one can ever touch.

To everyone here who has shown so much love and support through this, I say, on behalf of O*S, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. YOU are what has kept us going through this. Knowing that for every horrible person out there, there ARE decent caring people.

I want to say again, yes, I realize this is a game. I realize it's pixels. But there are real people behind those pixels. People with feelings. People who spend YEARS in this world working for things. I still will always believe that how you play this game and who you are in this world is who you are in real life, deep down where it counts.

Glad its turning around. Keep your chins up. Kudo's to that special person who helped.

Whoever that person is, they deserve a hug! Im glad that *some* of the stuff was secured and that it wasnt a total loss. Isaw the "Preventions" post on Stratics Cats, and was meaning to read it, but I didnt know it hit so close to howe!

When my friend was keeping up my acct while I was in school, he called me one day in a complete uproar. Someone had hacked my account that day and fleeced it of about 10 mil in gold. He happened to get on and ntice it and changed the password, and I am greatful that all the hacker took was gold and a few items...at the time, I remember thinking what loser thing this was to do.

I hope that all continues to go well, and the recuperation is short lived. May the guilty party get their just desserts!

Actually, it's now a couple people who deserve huge hugs and if my arms would reach that far, they'd get em! But all we can send are virtual hugs so here's TONS of those.

I keep hearing "It's not that much" and "I wish I could do more" but I want everyone here to listen to me and hear me well. It's NOT the material items. While those are welcome, it's not that that we consider such a HUGE deal. It's the love those things were given with. THAT is HUGE, HUMONGOUS, absolutely INCREDIBLE. It's the incredible outpouring of LOVE from everyone. And I'm sorry but THAT is a VERY big deal.

Would you hurry up and get home so I can decorate that castle !!!!!!!!!!
