Its around 1am on a pretty un eventful night on catskills, Lady Laiste is busily helping a friend Vampire Gaze tame some pets and do the library quest. When all of a sudden my pigeon goes off.

Well if it isnt our favorite stratics reporter Sarah Swift sending me a pigeon to attend a peerless boos fight in the Citadel Dungeon.

I grab my trusty Hyacinthe Rune Beetle and I head down.

Now who do I see there? Why Miss Flutterbug of course!! And another tamer. Good stuff...off to a good start. All the keys are ready and we are just watiing on more more person.

Unfortunately our keys expired on the table and we never made it down.

The other tamer had to leave so we decided to get the keys again and try for a second time.

This time I invite my friend norrit to join us.

So here we are ready to defend the world against Travesty......Sarah prepares to drop the keys but they pop into her bag?!?!

What could have happened? No other group got down there.

Its now almost 3am....and still the table wont take the keys.

So we page a GM.

And we wait and we wait and we wait and we wait.

Alas a GM comes...duh our keys expired on the table and released travetsy...it would be a 2 hour reset wait...but the GM was nice enough to reset it for us.

FINALLY! At 410am....we defeat the peerless boss!

But....after all that I think I had the most fun on the game this night then I have had in a very very long time....lol.

Shall we do it again? I THINK YES!

I am in bedlam cold looting corpses looking for cool new toys when I happen upon the thesis notes. I see a fella and ask him if he's doing peerless (you can tell because they are killing something besides red death). I say Ohh can I come?
Yup! Yay so I offer my thesis note and we are good to go. Fella doesn't know where to put the key so I show him.
Well... same story... bounces back in his pack.
K so he gives it to me and I try. Same story. No go.
So I call the good ole GM dude. Heck they helped this morning right?
Well with 15 min left on the timer a GM finally arrives. He has absolutely no idea what we are attempting to do. So we try to explain as best as possible. He teleports me into the library and asks me where the monster we are trying to kill is.....
*sigh*
Long story short we ended up having to get all the keys again. The key we had poofed with over 200 seconds left. I think it must have been bugged.
Well a few people left and it ended up just being 4 of us. We actually did it though. I was quite worried we wouldn't make the time limit with only 4 people. But we found that as long as the grizzle had ev's to keep him busy we could EQ for 75-80ish damage each time.
One of the ladies there was a nox mage and kept him poisoned with poison fields.
It was really quite exciting with 4 people... and it can be done in the time limit!

Someone should tell the GMs what a peerless is before they start work in the morning.

Yeah that gm seemed a bit clueless even if i only heard half the conversation. *is the aforementioned nox lady* Was a ton of fun even though you got my highly sought after bone pile. *covets* I keep preaching my poison on people when it comes to that guy.. (i.e. bring a 100 poison weap with bushido or *paladin maybe - untested* and a few mage healers) and you'll be fine soloing it for your guild. My poison fields at 115 mage/110 eval/100 poisoning do 30 dmg per round which is 1-3 seconds. Nothing makes me more mad than some regular mage coming in and casting the fields cause they see me do it and poison him (making it so i cant re-poison him and do more dmg). I know they're trying to help but if we all come in there in the beginning in a party to kill the guy till the end and drop... can't you see mine are deadly? Having me cast the fields goes so much faster. (even when flutter tells me to stop teehehehe)
Anyways I must attend to other matters right now....

I told them I wasnt going to die....I died 3x....made out with the eye but gave to Sarah for doing all the work for the keys

I wanna do it till and do it until I survivie one

Its easy to survive when you're not a tamer and have to stand next to her. But I died too even though I try to stay as far away as possible. I lived thru grizzle though!
