Please forgive me for making this brief but it's 2:00 a.m. and I'm bushed! On Saturday we will be taking on the champ spawn in Bedlam and then, if enough people are interested, we will attempt the peerless afterwards. We are going to meet up at Umbra gate starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and will head into the dungeon at 8:30.

I'll post more information later this morning after I've had some sleep and can think. LOL

OK, I have finally gotte ICQ up and running (insert big cheer!) and I need to say that they are total pain to try to regain an old number!

I came across some screen shots from Beta that I thought might be helpful to let everyone know what direction we are going once we enter Bedlam and a few of the residents that will be waiting to greet us. As you can see, just getting to the Champ area may require some fighting. Like I said earlier, when you enter the gate to Bedlam you will see a fenced area to your left. Our first destination is the small building INSIDE that fenced area.




If anyone wants to share what we will encounter once inside, please feel free. Most of the residents of Bedlam appear to be of the Undead variety for those wondering what weapons/instruments to bring along.

Once we complete the Champ Spawn, I would like everyone to exit the dungeon and regroup just outside. At that point, we will gauge the interest and the group size for taking on the peerless, the Monstrous Interred Grizzle.
In order to get to the Grizzle, we must obtain six Tattered Thesis Notes which drop as loot on the corpses. In Beta, they dropped more frequently off the skeletal mini bosses (Sir Patrick, Lady Jennyfer, Master Theopolus, etc). We need to gather six of these.

Once we have gathered the notes, we will group at the bloodletters outside while one of our Stealthers goes in to activate the keys. Luckily, we can port to the Grizzle area from the Bloodletters so everyone will have a minute or two to heal up and gather their wits. There will NOT be enough time to leave and come back since the keys are on timers. As with the other peerless, we must be CLOSE together for the parties to get ported.

We can take up to three full parties across. That's 30 people total if we have that many.

Some helpful notes IF we make it to the peerless. Make sure your armor is at FULL repair. He does MASSIVE damage to armor. When we enter the Grizzle area, the first order of business is to get him upstairs. This area is a little easier to work in. Be very careful downstairs that you do not accidentally step on one of the teleporters out of the area. If you do, you will not be able to come back in. Once the peerless is activated and the parties inside, no one else can gain access until it's finished.

When we get the Grizzle to about 1/3 health, we will drop the parties so that everyone gets a chance at an instanced corpse. Please note that once the party drops you MUST damage the beast to get looting rights. This, however, is the most fair way we can come up with for everyone to get a shot at the loot.

OK, I know this is longwinded and if anyone has anymore helpful information to add, please please do so. Otherwise, I'll see everyone at Umbra moongate by 8:30 p.m. Eastern tonite!

Just a few things i'll add since bedlam is my new home and I'm so excited the hunt is there this week.

*warning* there is a quest to get into Bedlam. Anyone who hasnt done it yet should do it before meet up @8:30. It starts with Aernya outside of the Umbra bloodletter. You will have to kill kirins, unicorns and pixies for items.

We'd only need 5 theisis notes. I've never seen one on master theopolus only on the boss (named) skeletons and skeletal mages. The peerless is weakest to poison (havnt visited him since beta though).

The champ spawn starts with boglings, moves to bogthings then the mini grizzle guys take over (and kill you). I havnt worked it past this point. The space is small but with some energy fields they can be kept back. I only had 4 people and there just want enough mana to keep the baddies at bay.
