That everything you get off the "kill" quests is junk, but if you simply carry all the bottles you can to HeartWood, youll get good stuff ~80% of the time?!?!

It blows my mind that running around killing stuff yields nothing of value, but buying something and ferrying back to the quest giver can get fantastic, usable items!

Nah I get crap from the bottle quests too. I don't know how everyone else is getting such good stuffs.

I know people that are making a killing on low level spawns on the kills quests just by wearing 1000-1200 luck armor.. not sure if that makes a difference or not. I'm sure it doesn't on the delivery quests though.

I dont think it has any affect at all on blacksmith quest rewards, I get more junk with my 1306 luck suit than without it.

Nope.. but the monsters/creatures, Swoops for example, seem to drop mad loot with 1000+ luck. So instead of doing completing the quests, they're going in for the spawns and farming instead since it reaps a much better yield than the reward itself. I was hoping to try it yesterday but got wrapped up in placing and deco'n a new house instead. Maybe today.

I swear by the heartwood crafter quests. I can get weapons/jewels with 3 or more very high stats and armor with high resist and good stats. Hunting, I was only get good loot on occassion. (The occassion I was killing peerless ;) )

I have stocked up on many of the crafters quests and gotten some very nice trinkets talismans and even weapons. One of the best weapons I can think of off hand is a composite bow with 50 Di 40+ Mana leech 12 (maybe higher)Hci Fc1 and something else that fit well. Anyone give a PC when I get the exact properties on it? *drachenfels shard I believe* I just started actually training blacksmith on my crafter there playing with making heater sheilds and brawdswords (sp) and gained like from 50-65 in less then a load of ingots on his giant monday (packbeetle) Just keep canceling quests till you get the one that you want when it comes to the crafters satchel quests. I accept both of the items above, alternating what I make just to cure the bordem of having to toggle the items and see how often the harder one gets made ten of first.

I did the bottle quest today and got a hide tunic that has either 52 or 56 total resist! The other day I got a gorget with 48 total resist! But I digress...

Im gonna take my Hiryu down to see Swoop in the morning...I think theyll get along nicely Ill let you know the results!

The swoops are certainly a UGLY color! And I have seen many people farming them I will be interested to hear the results of your hunt
